Today I am sharing how to make customized bracelets from a collar.
DISCLAIMER: This post contains affiliate links. I received some items from wholeport to use in tutorials. The views are 100% my own.
I received this lovely collar from (AD) whole port for free along with few other stuff which you will be seeing in the next post.
Isn’t this collar just so PRETTY! Obviously when I saw the pearls I just couldn’t resist. I got the idea for the bracelet the moment I set my eyes on the collar.
It’s made of thick fabric with a lace on top followed by the pearls and sparkles that are sewn into the fabric. All delicate hand work. I am sure it would look as pretty as a collar as it does as a bracelet.
Hand Cuff From Collar – (Customized Bracelets)
So these are the supplies you need for your project.
The cuff
Needle and thread
And clasps (also from wholeport)
So to start off, I first cut the embellished part out, along the dotted line as shown in the picture above and this is what I was left with.
Next, I just joined the two pieces together and hand-sewed them. Attached the clasps and I should’ve been done by then but I realized it was too big for me. So instead I used buttons.
Sewed in the buttons according to the size of my wrist and I was done! A gorgeous hand-cuff was what I had after 15 minutes! XD
