Hello friends! Today I’m sharing something that will make a great gift for a wedding or an anniversary for your loved one, you can also add it to you homemade gift ideas list. Don’t worry the pattern is included too which you can download for free from my pattern store at craftsy.
I would like to thank my really awesome friend for helping me out in this project by drawing the silhouette for me using her awesome drawing skills.
Okay, let’s begin the tutorial.
How to make Couple Silhouette Pillow DIY with Pattern (Homemade Gift Ideas)
Supplies:
- 1/2 yard cotton fabric cut into 14″ square
- zipper
- Black fabric paint
- One thick and one thin brush
- Sewing machine
- (Affiliate link) Pattern (The link will take you to my craftsy shop where you can download the pattern for free. Craftsy is an online worldwide craft community offering online classes and patterns. To know more about Craftsy click here.)
Directions:
Step 1:
Print out the pattern and place it under your 14″ square piece and trace out the outline using pencil.
Step 2:
Using the thicker brush fill in the paint.
For the edges use a thinner brush to fill in.
Step 3:
Allow it to dry for couple of hours, (I usually leave it for overnight) and then sew it into a pillow.
