Hello and welcome to a brand new series! I’m having so much fun sewing bags since the time I’ve started sewing. I swear it’s really addictive! I’m always day dreaming about a new bag design every now and then, even between my classes, which something I shouldn’t be doing at all. Haha.
After trying out different techniques of sewing bags, I’ve discovered some that are my favorite. They are easy and quick to follow and give better results. So, I have decided to share with them with you girls in a series called “Bag Sewing Secrets”, and today’s our first post on it which is all about box corners.
So, here you go;
How to sew perfect box corners in 4 EASY steps
- Cut out the fabrics for your front and back.
- From the rectangles cut out a 2” square from the sides as shown.
- Sew along the edges marked by the dotted lines.
- Pinch and sew the two sides together as shown. You’re done!
