Hello readers! How is your summer going? Happy 4th of July to all my readers from USA! Hope you had a blast! 😀 Let me know in the comments what you did.
Okay moving on to today’s post….
Today I am sharing this quick DIY phone case tutorial that I finished 2 days ago.
The bow was sent to me by (AD) wholeport and I got the pearls from an amazing store pretty2u.I swear I LOVE their collection of little bling and super cute stuff for phone art and nail art.
For your convenience, I have made a kit of all the supplies used in this project that you can purchase through amazon (affiliate link).
When I purchased this cover it was a checkered ugly, manly thing.
So the first thing I did was to coat it with several layers of white acrylic paint. Let it dry for about 24 hours and continue with the next step.
Next, add your bling to the cover using E6000 super glue.
The reason why I didn’t add the little pearls after applying the layer of glitter is because the glitter can easily come off if something heavy is attached to it. I hope you get the idea.
Okay, next make a paste of glitter and white glue and apply several coats of it on your phone case.
DO KEEP IN MIND; if you apply glitter mixture to a smooth surface it will peel off. Had that experience with my glitter spike phone case.
Hence I used a phone case with rough surface to make the glitter stay.
MAKE sure you add layers and layers of your glitter paste, and after the last coat apply another layer of JUST the glue to make the glitter stay.
