Today I’m sharing some of the free stuff that I use to make the pictures on my blog look good enough and I will list just three tools that will solve all the photo problems, literally ALL!
Free n Easy to Use Photo Editing Software and Other Tools
1) Photo editing software
For editing the pictures, I mostly use Photoscape. A totally free software available for download online. All you have to do is just Google the name. It’s pretty simple to use too, and you can get away with the basic editing stuff very easily. The other thing I mostly rely on Photoscape for, is the ability to add text and graphics to the pictures, also you can make wonderful collages from the “page” section of the software.
Two reasons I love this software is:
- It’s FREE unlike Photoshop and Lightroom and
- It’s super easy to use unlike Photoshop where you need to go through a thousand of tutorials.
Sometimes I use Photoscape and Lightroom together too.
2) Free fonts
I’ve heard a lot of people paying for an upgraded version of online photo-editing software to access their fonts, well, here’s a secret, you can get gazillion fonts on dafont.com that are TOTALLY FREE for personal use and this might be surprising but, I have seen a lot of those fonts on the online paid version of the photo editing software. I get ALL my fonts from there, and never ran into any sort of problem, and I’ve been using the site for years.
3) Photo-editing app
If you take pictures from your phone, here’s one app you wouldn’t want to live without. Lo and behold! Introducing you to one and only Snapseed. It was recommended to me by my friend. At first, I just brushed away the idea thinking it would be like any other of those photo-editing apps, but then I ended up downloading it. And believe it or not I REGRET from the depth of my heart for not using the software earlier. It’s like Lightroom for your phone. If you visit my instagram profile you’d see what a huge impact this app had on my pics. 😉
I hope you guys found this post helpful. What are your favorite apps and tips for photography? Let’s talk about them on facebook. Like and share if you think it was helpful. 🙂
