Going Glam for my Next Dorm Room Decor

Hello everyone! How’s it going? Today I’m sharing my plan for my next dorm room. We will be moving into new dorm rooms starting from the next semester that is in September and I wanna decorate the room from scratch and this time I only have two things in mind –> luxury and glam!

Home or no home, I want a place where I could relax and feel completely at ease with a touch of luxury. A place where the moment I step into I forget about the tiring day completely, a place detached from the rough college life, something from my dream. Okay that’s a lot to say, but, really that’s the type of dorm room I want.
 
While browsing through the net I fell in love with turquoise, black and white color palette, but it felt too main stream. I wanted to incorporate some other color too, and when I came across this pin I knew EXACTLY what I wanted! I was IN LOVE! Purple and turquoise look SO GOOD together!
 So this is what I came up with. A decor incorporating all these colors, with a touch of boldness with stripes and patterns. I want the curtains to be in purple silk, and some throw pillows on the bed with the same fabric. I am planning to make bed skirt in turquoise silk, which I couldn’t show here.  I will be adding vase and bottles painted in silver and gold. I’m not sure if I’d be able to find a chair exactly like this, maybe I’d have to make a slip cover for the one already available. The other thing I couldn’t include is the headboard, that I’m planning to make from foam board and silver sequin fabric. 😀 So much sparkle! I love sparkles and glitterssssss! 😀
