I just reviewed the FREE mini class on sewing basics by craftsy and as usual it was quite helpful. Just want to share what I learnt from the class so that you, my readers can benefit from it too!
While the first class that I reviewed was more about getting started with your sewing machine, choosing the right bobbins and all, this class takes you further and prepares you with what all you gotta do IF a certain situation shows up.
That is, if all of a sudden if your needle breaks, your thread is breaking while sewing and all that horror stuff which can break you down in the middle of an amazing project. (I know about that as it has happened to me a lot of times).

The one important tip that I wouldn’t have known about otherwise is that the metal and plastic body machines can make a huge difference in your sewing. Really need to keep this in mind while buying my own sewing machine next time.

As salamu aliki! I tried clicking on the link to your first post about sewing machines but it came up with a 404 page! Other than that, thanks for posting about the class, I think I will go check it out inshallah!
