Hello readers! Today’s post is all about pillows. Yes, the different pillows that I had been working on for past months, the time has come to display them! XD
My DIY Pillows
This is how I did the large pink pillows.
First added the ruffles to the plain fabric.
For the magenta tulle ruffled strip, I used a strip which was double in length than the actual pillow cover, and vertically sewed it in place, adding ruffles simultaneously.
The pleats came in later because I realised the size of my pillow cover was by exceeding 5 inch.I have no idea how the measurements got so wrong.
To cover up the mistake I had to add the pleats.
It was a hell lot of tough work. But, I guess it paid off. I love how they look now.
