Hey readers! Today I am showing you my desk for computer/study lap desk that I made from old bookshelf.
Desk for Computer from Old Shelf DIY
This was my first try at decoupage, painting and distressing the furniture. I used the technique shown in this video to make it look antique. I like how it turned out till there but am not very confident about the decoupage. I guess that part is screwed. Don’t know.

I would like to especially thank Kate @ Chic on a shoestring decor for posting about the guest post opportunity at answers.com. Without you this wouldn’t have been possible! xo
Something from life:
We just had our first microbiology lab last week where we tested the bacteria present in our surroundings. I was pretty astonished by the results and kinda excited too so I thought I would share it with you guys.
I had always thought that the places that are touched by everyone would have a HUGE number of bacteria growing on them for example the door knobs and elevator buttons but guess what we BARELY detected ANY colony of bacteria on them.
But of-cource the amount of bacteria colony we found on dustbin was HUGE!
Here are a few pictures of the results we got after incubating the petri dish overnight.
Interesting right?
