So many unsubscribes and hate e-mails just because I posted a tutorial on how to sew Islamic prayer garment. This has extremely saddened me because one, the enemies of Islam have succeeded in spreading the wrong image of Islam and second, I as a Muslim failed to reach the world before the enemies with the true knowledge of Islam.
Considering I might be your only connection to the Muslim world of 1.57 billion people, I think it best to let you know what the Zionist media does not show about Islam and Muslims and only focuses on the 5% of Muslims (who are not even real Muslims).
In every society there are good people as well as bad people. Bad people who are hungry for power and money, in this case they are all those terrorist groups who follow 2% of Islam and 98% of their own laws. Laws which were made by them and which never existed in Quran ever. I know this because I’m a Muslim born and bred in a Muslim community. These bad people are a threat to the entire world including the Muslims who live a normal happy life because all these bad people want is power. They love violence and terrorism so no normal person is safe from them.
Terrorists have no religion. Just because they take their oaths in Arabic and recite Quranic verses, they aren’t really Muslims because they have transgressed the limits set by Allah, they have made their own rules and regulations and refused to follow what Allah has commanded them to do.
The other 95% of Muslims (the one’s that don’t make the front cover of the news) are just normal people like any other non-Muslims. They have dreams, goals, families, hobbies, favorite movies, games, songs, wedding plans etc. The average Muslim teen is like any other teen going crazy about latest gadgets and all those stuff. But the only thing different is that we try to live our lives according to what Allah has mentioned in the Quran. And believe me it DOES NOT include killing innocent souls or any such violence.
Islam is a religion of peace. The word “Islam” itself means peace.
No one in Islam is forced to follow the Quranic laws. A woman can CHOOSE to wear the head scarf or not wear it. I’m gonna talk about headscarf because it’s a hot topic. Whatever acts of worship we do, we do it for ourselves to get closer to Allah. My parents never forced me to wear head scarf or the veil. In-fact 90% of Muslim don’t even wear the veil and probably 70% don’t even wear the head scarf. It’s totally upto them and there’s no forcing or chopping heads for these things. They would only be accountable for it by Allah on the last day of Judgement.
Likewise, there are many such laws of Allah that we are suppose to follow and only some of them have punishment in the world like adultery, theft, murder, bribery and all those things.
This speech can go on and on because the topic is so deep.
I suggest that you watch some of these short videos which have done better in explaining Islam.

Thank you for the beautiful article. It is sad that so many people make the wrong assumptions about people based on so little. I am a Christian and have been taught to believe to love my brother as myself, not certain brothers but all. I am so sorry some pealpe have given you a hard time. Please try to forgive their ignorance.
Bless you and keep a happy heart!

Thanks for the thoughtful words Pamela! I don’t hold anyone accountable for their wrong judgement because I think it’s not their fault. It’s more like a human nature to believe what we see without thinking, so it’s okay. It’s our duty to share the right things so that everyone would know what’s really the truth. 🙂

I am a 63 year old French/Irish Catholic grandmother of 6 boys. Can I adopt you as my grand daughter? You seem to be smart and personable. and willing to speak your mind. I like that. I am sorry you got nasty emails and people unsubscribed. My feeling is they are ignorant. Because of your blog about making a sample head scarf, in which you used the Muslim name for it, I learned some things. I had no idea of what it was that you were offering free patterns of, so I looked it up. The Muslim head scarf! I couldn’t believe how complicated they are. I always thought it was just a plain scarf wrapped a certain way. I read the reasons for it, etc. Then I went on to read other things about Muslims. I did learn a lot. Please do not let people discourage you. Continue to learn and do what you enjoy. Hugs to you.
